Final Street Series For November PDF Print E-mail
Written by Paul Roth
This Friday will be the final in our street series for November. This event will feature a Park style open scatter (2.5 km) and a Junior line (1.8 km) course. Thank you to all the regulars and to all the new people. We hope you are enjoying orienteering and will attend our event at 6pm 30th November for our special Victoria Park maps.

The courses for this week have been set by our NSW school representatives, Samantha and Kate. Please meet near the BBQs and BYO chairs.

Following your course, we will be holding a sausage sizzle with treats for the kids and drinks available. We are just asking a gold coin donation. Then we will present awards from the OANSW for 2012 and for the local street series.

All welcome.

The Western Plains Orienteers had great fun in Queensland. Eight events made up the carnival plus training for juniors.

There were approximately 600 competitors including many of Australia 's elite orienteers and some foreign visitors. Nine members from the club competed.
